The Justice League of America is the premiere super hero team in the DC Universe. It's roster is made up of some of the best known and most loved characters in comic book history. Unfortuneately, DC is not known for making the best licensing deals for their characters. This has resulted in a large number of their heroes never being immortalizedin plastic. This is my homage to those characters. I hope to do them justice. |

Aztec |
Aztec was a short term member of the JLA and is currently a reserve member. He was created by Grant Morrison for a solo DC series that lasted only 10 issues. When DC pulled the plug on his book, Morrison used his new assignment on JLA to make sure that Aztec didn't disappear from the DCU as quickly as he appeared. It was later revealed that Lex Luthor had some distant ties to Aztec and his backers, so Aztec quit the league rather than take a chance of compromising its security. |

 |
Martian Manhunter has been a much maligned character for years. He has been the heart and soul of the JLA since it's inception, yet he has never been given the respect that he so richly deserves. Thankfully, Morrison included him in the "Big Seven" for the new JLA series and his level of recognition has never been higher. Culminating in the launch of his very first solo book ever. |

Orion |
Orion is a New God from the planet of New Genesis and the son of the evil Darkseid. He was one of two New Gods, along with Big Barda, that were thrust upon the JLA as members by Highfather (the leader of the New Gods) to help avert a great and mysterious force of evil that is headed for Earth. He has a great amount of anger inside him and is often quick to battle without thought of the ramifications of his actions. |

Superman Red/Blue |
In recent months Superman was somehow turned into an evergy being and subsequently split into two distinct entities with two distinct personalities. Each had to rely on a containment suit to remain in control of his poewers and each became a normal, vulnerable heman when he became Clark Kent. This storyline was not well recieved by readers but I felt that it was significant enough event in his career to merit a custom. |

Wonder Woman |
Wonder Woman is one of the DC Big Three, along with Batman and Superman. She is the amazon ambassador of peace to the "man's world" from the mystical island of Themiscyra. She has taken a fairly aggressive and forceful, by necessity, path toward her peaceful goals and often questions her own ability to reach these goals. She is extremely strong (second only to Superman), has the ability to fly, and uses a magic lasso that is unbreakable and has the abiltiy to compel anyone who is bound by it to tell the truth. After a convoluted run on her book by John Byrne, she is now trying to regroup her thoughts and revaluate her mission in "man's world." |

Zauriel |
A former guardian andgel that fell in love with his charge only to be rebuffed by her when he made his feelings known, Zauriel is an angel made somewhat mortal by his own decision to come to Earth. He first encountered the JLA when he helped them turn the tide against an earthly invasion of agels of the Bull Host that were bent on taking over heaven and earth alike. He refused membership at first, but later took a place with the team and has proven somewhat valuable in mystical events. It should be noted that this custom is based on his first incarnation and prior to the suit of heavenly armor he now wears. |
